Latest toy. Excellent Jack

Best GBP130 ever spent. Transformed my garage projects.
Goes under the car and lifts high enough to put stands under front and rear jacking points

Where do you place the jack, on your S2, and lift it high enough to fit axle stands under the two front jacking points ?

I insert it... ...under THE jacking point. Front only on the S2
Then I can put axle stands underneath. One at the front recommended jacking point (2 set screws) and one at the rear (rearmost wishbone mount) All in one lift.
Works a treat

I looked at buying that one when I needed a 'good' jack earlier this year - ended up buying a 3-tonne version from SGS.
Main reason being that it had a slightly higher maximum lift (which was needed to get the fuel tank out), but mainly because the 3-tonne limit meant it would be better for use on the VW van.

(I got a pair of good ratchet action axle stands at the same time, and they appear to be good quality, like everything else I have got from them)

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
