I recentl watched this review of the Elan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYxoXe8UEs4&list=WL&index=20Suprisingly he says that the car grips to a low level and then understeers and that it's too soft and doesn't like corners although he seems to enjoy it, laughing with joy several times during his drive. He also says that it suddenly lets go and could be quite dangerous. None of this squares with what I've read in road tests. I wonder what tyres his test car had and how well the geometry was set.
Has anyone else watched it and what do they think of his review?

What are all these spiders he is talking about? I don't have any in mine
And, although he says it's original apart from the tailpipe, I'm sure he has a dump valve fitted
With roads like that I reckon I could rag my Elan's better than Davide. I don't recognise some of the things he is talking about. Perhaps it's lost in the translation? Or maybe it's down to all the spiders
