G’day fellow M100 owners… it’s taken a while but finally got my hands on a 92 SE in ‘ordinary’ condition…. I’m gonna need a few parts… any suggestions ? Preferably Australian suppliers, but the Uk is fine also…. Cheers

Hello and welcome!

To be honest, I have no idea where you would buy stuff in Oztralya - it is not somewhere that I know well enough to suggest anywhere.

That said, there are a few "local" (if you can ever be local in a Continent) active guys on here who have gone through the 'initial get-it-up-and-running', and also through the 'time to do the major stuff' situation who have either sourced stuff from Oz, USA, UK or elsewhere.

I'm sure they'll be along in due course, but failing that, most common service parts seem easy to get "locally" as they are not completely specific to the car, engine/gearbox parts are best got from USA (even most of us Brits use Rockauto.com for parts common to the Isuzu Impulse Turbo).

Don't forget that you may even be able to get some Isuzu stuff from Japan.

For anything specific, don't be afraid to ask.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Hi and welcome, I’m Hobart based and onto my second M100.

Most basic service parts (filters, belts, fluids etc) are available through mainstream suppliers like Repco, Supercheap etc.

Lotusmarques in Melbourne carry some parts, often surprisingly cheap, due to Isuzu/GM connection.

For other parts I get mine from SJSportscars in UK. Excellent online ordering system and quick despatch, albeit at a price.

Robert.
