A friend has a low mileage Satria. No oil painting but a rare car that drives well and is totally standard.
Open to offers around £800
MOT June I think

Well I have to say it’s a lovely thing. Lotus did an incredible job on the suspension; not a single rattle or shake and pretty unstickable. Not what I was expecting for a Malaysian built car….. I’m not joking when I say this thing rides like a german vehicle and handles like a Lotus. I’ve been using it as a daily since I picked her up and haven’t stopped smiling since !

Ok some downsides are it’s a bit of a project car with some exterior cosmetic issues and needs some mechanicals, service and a ‘stage 1’ tune to give it the performance it deserves to match it’s handling capabilities. I bought it with the intention of restoring it with my son as a ‘project car’ which he’ll take on when he’s 20 in a few months as he can’t get insurance until then. Pictures to follow once completed …..grab one while you still can and makes a great daily alongside the m100.

Happy that you are happy ! That was my plan but my brother had to close his car storage business which existed to provide a self funded storage solution for our collection of interesting ( but not awfully valuable)motors.
Unfortunately the landlord had a great idea for the unit to develop it and in order for us to keep
it he wanted double the annual rent.
We had to sell several cars
A very tidy Sierra 2.9 XR4x4 with under 40k and one owner
MGB GT 1 owner 29K totally original and very very good
My two rally cars a 72 Dolomite and Mini 1275 Mk3
My 2 litre Vitesse convertible
My 63 Herald
We kept 3 of my brothers cars a 63 Bond Equipe and a 72 Saab 99 E( fi) our Rover 25 Rally Car
My Elan has nearly always lived at home unless one of the fleet were at my place being fettled.
The Proton would have been a very purchase as I always wanted one.
They must be rarer than M100s although I haven’t checked.

A very interesting collection.

It's a pain not having the storage space but probably useful to have someone make the fleet reduction decision for you. I've got 3 to sell this year - It does focus your mind on which ones you really want to keep!
