I have a joking spirit in the car: sometimes the headlights go up and sometimes go down, as do the passenger and driver side windows. giving the command they do what they want ... if they want to go down or up, if they don't want to, they stay still ... Maybe it's time to call a priest and have his blessed?

Sounds like you need to rebuild the headlight motors, and window mechanisms. Unless you are implying there is an electrical fault somewhere.

the control modules seem to start missbehaving in the last 5 years. i think the internalts of those are starting to get too old.

there are a few threads here and there about repairing them. but the simplest solution is to replace while you can. there is a forum member in the US that has some new-old stock hes old name in the forum was brit car nut, but goes by a different name these days. im sure you will easily find him tho.

but as mentioned. the usual fault is mechanical inside the motors. the less common one is the electrical circuit
