JayEmm on Cars

James Martin (not the chef) is a YouTuber with a channel called 'JayEmm on Cars'. James first got in touch with me 7 years ago to do a review on the M100. We have been trying to fit a time in since and because of various issues have not been able to do any filming. Until now!

Yesterday I drove to Essex and met up with James and spent the morning with him. He took a lot of static photos and then we went to an area in the Essex country where I drove up and down a good country road whilst he took videos of the car driving past. Then James finally took the car out himself with 6 cameras attached and did his own thing for the review.

Whilst waiting for his return and before lunch his next review car arrived. A lovely 1990 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit II owned by Brad, who had worked with James before with some of his other cars.

James is hoping to edit the work this weekend and will send me the draft early next week for approval before publishing it on his YouTube channel probably at the end of the week.

Update. James sent a copy of the video to Mike Kimberley as he was mentioned plus a lot of facts which James wanted to clarify with Mike were factually correct.

Mike was Very Happy with it all apparently.

Very positive well balanced review of what is, a very good example of the M100

i got some notes.

he was commenting on the gear shifting experience but was also reviewing a car with a short shifter. not sure he actually know what a stock gear shift feels like.

stating a car needs 3-4k to be brought back to a nice drivable condition sounds excessive... but at the end of the day. im not paying someone else to work on my car.

I think it would have been better to remove the wind protection at the rear though, it's much prettier without it ^^
(although I understand it's probably nice to have it too)

Agreed, it wobbled like buggery on the drive. No mention of the fact that Rambo still has a better toolkit either

how could you possibly consider their review of the M100 even remotely accurate when that wasn't mentioned ?
