3 pin plug next to the ECU connectors

Postby LeedsMike » Wed 06.09.2023, 14:34

Dont suppose anyone knows what the 3 pin plug does that is attached to the ECU wiring harness?

Have had a quick look through the wiring diagrams and cannot put my finger on it.....

Thanks!

As you have an S2 I can only make a guess that it is for the CO Pot which wouldn't be fitted to a car with an O2 sensor from the factory.

Those of us with an SE that has had an O2 sensor fitted and a closed loop ECU will have an CO Pot, and I can't see a 'spare' socket on my car.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?
