Old but new member returning

Hello from a returning member. I previously posted with the username Squirtydog, but have been unable to recover this profile. In any case, I am returning as an official Elan owner having inherited the 1990 SE Turbo after my father passed away. I previously had a loan of the car around 2012-13 and did a bit of work on it at that time (PNM brakes front and rear, new shifter cables, short shift, some minor retrimming of door cards). After that, the car returned to my dad who drove it very little and it was stored until October 2022 when it came back to me. PNM (fortunately just up the road from me) carried out a service along with new belts at that time. Since then it has had a new hood from Allhoods and a cam angle sensor which eliminated a misfire. It is now running great and I am looking forward to my adventures. As for future plans, I fancy some performance gains. Plus, I have many seals and weatherstrips bought and ready to be fitted after a planned bodywork restoration. I hope to be able to at least contribute something here, but am more likely to come for advice. Anyway - hello!

Hello, and yes please. If you could reactivate that account I would appreciate it. I cannot remember the email address I used though. Has to be one of only a couple but may be one I cannot access anymore. Is that going to be a problem?

Well how fortunate is that? I spotted this just yesterday. I'll add myself to the list and also send a PM if that is ok - my username will probably change to my old one - Squirtydog - at some point.
