Hi,
I got my gorgeous Lotus Elan N/A 5 years ago but only joining now.
Even without a turbo, the Elan is a great looking, great driving car. And it's really rare, which makes its all themore attractive. Don't want to see the same around the corner !
I love this car. It empitomize what a British car should be, small, light, funny, roofless, made for people who love cars and life. That's why I wanted it right-hand drive (an English roadster lefty-hand drive is an heresy!) and I went all the way to the lovely English countryside to get it and drive it back home in France. This road trip back to Dover and the, in the French countrysidewas a fantastic way to bond with my new car.
This old lady has its mechanical issues and I hope I can find some tips and information here.

Five years of ownership and not being a member of this forum is a long time. I guess you havent had to search much for answers to problems in that time.
Im sure that now you are here youll find it a superb font of knowledge for any issues that do crop up.

I think my job date is 2 days after I bought my first elan.
Just shows how different an ownership can be across 2 similar cars

Hello & welcome to you!
As for a N/A left hand drive you couldn't have bought it anyway, as it doesn't exist.
Well I have been here for longer than my ownership since I was looking for informations, so ...
