The 2 bolts which do the adjustment will look crap, but should come out with a suitable hammer (once the nut is off - or destroyed) - they are just a pair of bolts really.
If the channel is rusted it should clean up - just so long as it hasn't gone so far as to have holes. It can be welded/plated or replicated, but new (s2) versions are available.
I'm going to let it sit in the vinegar bath with some other rusty parts for a day or two and give them a good brushing. Hopefully i'll be surprised

if they market it close to the 400 pounds mark with vat inclusive, theres a good chance they would sell a few to the UK
I paid Pennsylvania 6% sales tax, the total was $475/£379 for top + shipping
I just bought one of these myself, it was $491 US shipping to VA. The one place I had spoken with out of North Carolina (Kee Auto Top) wanted $1,100 for theirs BUT had let me know they got the blessing from Hethel to make the ones they do and were given all specs needed.
Jake, I'm very interested so see how your top fits. I'm pretty gung-ho and this might be my next big project after the short shift kit goes in this week. Please let me know if you're already in the process of having the roof fitted. If you have extra photos of the build quality, would love to see them. Please reach out to me here via DMs or on Fbook (Steve H.) in the groups.

Hey Steve! I haven’t cut the old and battered roof off to make way for the new one just yet but when I measured the factory top and compared to the new one from eBay everything was just about perfect. I may have taken some pictures of it laid out overtop of the original roof before I rearranged all my parts in the garage. I’ll try to find and send to you
