an unexpected treat

I was watching a UK YouTube video reviewing a possible car dash cam+ gadget for my Citroen C4 Picasso, when an unexpected treat appeared.

I have an S2 in that colour on the other side of the world. For that to have sailed by they must be ten-a-penny over there!

why not link the youtube video itself with the time where it happen ?

The video is 14:16 long, of little/no interest to M100 people, and you would have to faff about getting to the 12:08 spot. Whereas I have edited it to seven seconds. And there are other treats for Lotus people in my cloud...

i clicked your kink to the storage website, then tried to open the clip and nothing happened. i genuinely started worrying your account was compromised and this was an elaborate attempt to hack people.

if you stop the clip just before what you want to show and right click in it theres an option to get a link which opens the video at that point in time ("copy video url at current time")
that gets you this link

which takes other folk exactly to the part you want to show

you can also embed the video to your post but theres no option in that case to set the time when it start, but its easier to just tell "skip to 12:05 "

you can just take the section after the slash and before the question mark from the previous link and post it like this

i think showing people the features of the forum is helpfull

and yes, i have more pressing matters to tend to... this weekend theres rear brake pipes on my celica that need replacing.. im just here procastinating because the next step is to put the new pipes in... and its not looking easy
