i'm getting et 25 rims. does anyone know if they touch the suspension calipers or fenders?

I wouldn't recommend it Pietro, your wheels will sit too far out, you really want to go no lower than 45.

i will try et 30, i took some measurements and they should be fine.

There are 2 things which will affect your question, there is the ET (which is +60 on a standard Lotus wheel), then there is also the width of the wheel rim (which is either 6.5" or 7").

If you fit a wheel with +30 ET, and it is still 7" width, then there is a chance that you will hit the wheelarch on the bodywork.

I have seen cars with ET42 being very close, so I would suspect problems with anything less...... but until you fit them, it is hard to say for sure if you can just trim down the wheelarch to make it right.

I may look better, but the handling will suffer (you may or may not be able to notice it, depending on your driving style anyway).

thanks. i took et 30. but i paid very little. the idea is to try them and see how they go,
worst case scenario i'll resell them.
i measured the rear and there are no problems, there could be some at the front, but i won't know until i mount them.
but i saw here in the wheels section that many have mounted different rims without problems, and some even 17.
the driving style is sporty, but if i were to go to the track i would mount the original rims. let's see, i've had the car for a month i have to understand

A website exists where if you enter your original wheel size ie diameter, rim width and offset (et number) and also your tyre size, then in another section enter all the same info for a new proposed wheel and tyre combination, it will tell you how much more (or less) clearance there will be. It will also tell you a revised speedo reading if you altered the overall diameter of wheel and tyre.
Unfortunately I can't recall the web address, but I'm sure I posted it on here a few years ago!

hi. yes i already did it, it comes out 3 cm compared to the original -60 wheel. i should be there.
i paid little for the rims, 150 euro, they are "star" very similar to the originals, as soon as i can i will post a photo.
i am very curious both from an aesthetic point of view, always very important, and from the driving. we will see how it goes.
