Hi all,

I'm the new boy !
This forum was recommended to myself after a Facebook post asking questions about a m100 that I had taken out for a test drive that had a few problems.

I am looking forward to reading through this forum.

If anyone has any handy tips on what to look out for I would love to hear them.

Also also, it's helpful to put your location in your profile. There might be someone nearby that can help you put an extra set of experienced eyes on a car as well.

And unless you have printed records stating otherwise, I'd budget for a timing belt change and new thermostat install (and fluids refresh at that point too). Check the date codes on the tires too. These cars are often fair-weather weekenders, and can easily have tires with lots of tread, but are past their best-by date.
