Windshields / Windscreens *HOW TO GET* in the USA

Hey folks,

After waiting for a year to get our order fulfilled, Pilkington finally delivered some replacement windshields for a friend and I. As of this writing, there is an extra M100 windshield (and an early Esprit windshield) available in the US. Right now they are in Littleton, CO area, but can be doubled up in my shipment to Austin, TX too. If anyone is near either of those places wanting a windshield, let me know (the windshield can also be shipped from Littleton, CO to you on your own shipment).

Final price would be dependent on the shipping costs but its around $1400+

Torquehorse, this is awesome news for us in the US. I gave Pilkington a call... they informed me that they can't take consumer orders. It must be placed through a dealer (guessing someone like SafeLight or other window installers). Just wanted to let anyone else know that if you call, they won't be able to confirm it's in stock to us plebs. It must go through a window repair company or insurance handler. May already be claimed, have no clue at the moment... silly way to do business if you ask me.

In case anyone is trying to get one in the future on their own: A couple of years ago, I was able to order one myself directly by emailing "Classics@nsg.com" They are a subgroup of Pilkington. You are looking for HT1085 GN.
I also got great service and price by ordering through Ricky Evans Motorsports "sales@heatedwindscreen.com" (even though it wasn't on their website, they got it for me).

Hey guys, sorry I missed you earlier replies to this.

The windshields that I knew of that were in the USA have been sold, and I've updated the thread title.

They are available from the regular band of retailers in the UK for other M100 parts; just FYI, you will just be paying ALOT for shipping.
