Definitively don't look stock; what would it cost to have them rectified?

Yes, horizontal corrugated stripes in the plastic along the lights. Middle perspex number plate cover missing - but might just about be the later model before S2 which didn't have them.

Aren't they Alpine lights? And might these be a more modern version? I quite like them...I'd have them on mine...I quite like the look of the removed of the clear plastic middle part, too, in fact....hmm...

Recently had a week in St Georges Bay. Loved it but a bit frantic at night :?

Yes, St. George's bay would frantic at night time :agree:

Not sure if the tail lights have something added to them to cover up any issues with the lenses.

Well more than £1000 to 'put right' I reckon.

Yes, those look like what they should be & they are very expensive to replace. Definitely something going on with those tail lights!

Cheers.

Definitely look like Alpine Rear lights, I actually prefer these to the originals and if you were to swap them out I'm sure they would make similar money in the Alpine world as these are rare items as well 8)

I thought the Alpine lights are what normally came on the Elan; these look ribbed!?

It looks like the late '80s red Renault Alpine GTA V6 turbo has the same 'flat' rear lens as our m100s, but if you look at a spare part for the A610 that replaced it in the early '90's this 3-bar/ ribbed pattern evolves :-

Good find.

Yep, looks like the late '80s red Renault Alpine GTA V6 turbo tail lights should be on the car.

At least they could have been replaced with what any previous owner found available, or maybe at a better price.
