MAP SENSOR TAKE-OFF

Does anyone have an alterative to the MAP SENSOR TAKE-OFF P/N A100E6517S. Mine is being help together with epoxy. Dont think its going to last.

I don't know what the diameter and thread pitch is off-hand, but others have used brass fittings and a lawnmower inline fuel filter. Kind of have to make your own at this point.
Personally, I went to the hardware store and got some small brass or alum tube (like a straw) that fit just inside the diameter of the old plastic takeoff. Then I made like a ~1/2" stent, so the broken plastic bits had something to hold to when I epoxied it back together.

I did contact a few of the Lotus suppliers but none had stock. I will look to make something up I think.

i wonder if PETG is a suitable material for it.
2bar pressure is the most it will ever need to sustain. but im unsure it even that is too much?

It is basically a free-flowing filter - the screw thread is a standard size for a brass elbow, then add some silicone vacuum hose and a remote filter (to prevent crap getting into the sensor) and it will work fine.

I broke mine (well, 2 of them over the years!) and repaired them with a dab of superglue to hold the parts in the right place, and then used chemical metal to surround and support the 2 bits of the plastic elbow - still going strong 15 years on.
