Keep getting the above. Tried two different browsers. Been happening for a while now. Not really looking in particular.

we still dont know where your trying to get them from ?

could be the lec storage and it could be from brit car nut's website or even some other source.

You are not clicking on the correct link, DO NOT click on the red links in the posts, they no longer work. Go to the top of this page just below the LOTUS ELAN CENTRAL banner, just below that you see the links to home|Wiki LEC|Repairs|upgrades etc, go along to the link that says 'manuals', click on that one and that one only. Old links go back to a previous LEC contributor who no longer offers the manuals on his web site.

True enough, but he would have to be logged in to post about it no?

Very true, but not to just read a post and then see no 'Manuals' tab!

Hmmmm. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong…… For the closed loop catalyst engine management manual when I open it all I get is 212 blank pages. I’m logged in and I can see the open loop manual just fine.
Using an iPad and have no computer skills - either it works or it doesn’t. And this doesn’t seem to for some reason :(
Can anyone assist? Or pm me a copy?
Many thanks in advance :D

Edward, try it again, even on a different machine 'just-in-case'? My Win11 machines load it fine...

Imo unusual to get pages that are blank; perhaps your iPad software has gremlins(?) in which case a pm'd copy might be just as blank?

I would give you the same advice that I always give Clemo whenever he can't do something that everyone else takes for granted on their tech......

..... but "Chuck away that Fisher-Price overpriced kids machinery and get something with Android or Unix/Windows" probably won't help.....

Joking aside, I don't use Apple stuff so don't know how to deal with their quirks - but as Chris has said, I also can view the documents on both my laptop and my phone (Using Adobe Acrobat pro - which should be good on MacOS anyway). I suspect that if you can download a different 'pdf viewer App it should be okay (Not sure if Foxit works with Apple, but it is a good & free App for .pdf if you don't want everything that Acrobat does).

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

This may be a size thing.....

The version on the manuals page is over 100 Megabytes, whereas I have a different copy (same version) which is less than a third the size.
Still, 30 Meg is a bit large to send in an email, so try THIS LINK.

Interesting. I have all three platforms, and I’ve been experimenting.

I can see that file fine on Android and Windows, but not iPad. I’ve tried downloading a local copy and it makes no difference.

I can see all the other manuals files on any of the three platforms.

Like Ron, I suspect it may be a size problem, because a) the original file is just over 100Mb, which does sometimes seem to cause problems on iPad, and b) Ron’s link works just fine on the iPad.
