Loom location

Postby Hector2021 » Thu 07.08.2025, 14:35

I really should be able to answer this myself but I'm away from my car for a whiles so cant start lifting carpet.
Can anyone tell me if there is a single main loom from front to back and which route it takes I.e left or right cill, or via the central tunnel?

Not sure if it counts as a single loom or not, as I seem to remember a few 'smaller' bundles of wire running together under the centre console, along the top of the 'transmission tunnel' that has no transmission in it!

Nothing runs along the cills - it's all in the middle away from water ingress.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Great question but could I ask why you’re asking ?
