New M100 Owner in Wisconsin

Postby hethel_haus » Sun 23.03.2025, 22:16

Hi all! I've been a lurker on this website for many years now and have always read and heard good things about these cars. I have been slowly restoring a 1973 Lotus Elan Plus 2S 130/5 Cabriolet for several years which has been going painfully slow. Good things take time though right?!??! Anyway, I'm not getting any younger and when I found a real nice looking M100 on this website, I thought, heck why not? I posted a couple of photos under the NA Cars for Sale Section under the Seller listing. Attached are also some other photos of the car in my garage where I am patiently waiting for good weather to arrive here in WI. If you look closely at a couple of the photos, you can see my Plus 2 project in the background. I have a completed rolling chassis so far along with lots of paint removed on the bodywork. Continued work for the coming year. While I'm not out enjoying the M100 that is! Cheers!

Very nice looking ride. I would love to know how the lotus steering wheel was mounted. I've got the steering wheel but its a 4 hole momo and I could not find the proper hub. Only 6 hole.
