Hi,
Took the car out for a run after 3 weeks of inactivity. On initial startup, I got an engine warning light. Turned it off and checked all the electrical connections under the bonnet I could get at. Started again, no warning light and running fine.
Then while driving noticed no boost being indicated on the gauge and didn't feel like the turbo was kicking in. Otherwise running fine.
After the run out, checked what the fault code was and turns out to be a 33 (MAP sensor high voltage - low vacuum).
Could be the 33 is a red herring for the turbo problem, might just have been iffy connection / condensation etc.
Anyway for the turbo, read a few older posts and the wiki and I guess a sticky wastegate seems to be a likely cause. So can try out first, possibly with the help of my friendly local garage if it's beyond my skill set!
Just thought I'd check to see if anyone has other suggestions.
