Help Identifying Hoses

Hi,

Would someone please help me identify the two hoses in the pictures? I know number one comes from the boost gauge transducer, but I'm not sure what two does. I've gone through the manual and forums, but I can't figure out what they are!

One is pretty much just disintegrating. Two doesn't seem to stay clipped in; it just sits there and falls out when you touch it.

Second one is for the PCV valve. Helps manage blowby and crankcase pressure. Is it falling out at the valve cover or the intake manifold? If valve cover, you can get another of the plastic valves that go at the end of the hose and plugs into the valve cover.

For the disintegrating hose, you can just replace with standard rubber or silicon hose.

Thanks for your help! It's falling out at the valve cover, so I will look to order a new clip. And thanks for the information on the hose, will sort that as well.

Tuga, I was in a time pinch, so threw a VPN on (also UK-based) to access it - but yes not an ideal solution. Will use something else in future!

Update: I ordered a new PCV valve from SJ Sports (also on their advice), and it also just falls out of the valve cover. I haven't fitted it, but it responds just like the old one.

No, there is supposed to be a rubber grommet in the valve cover that the plastic PCV plugs into. I don't know where an exact replacement can be found. Maybe someone else does, or you could try improvising something silicone or rubber in the meantime.

Taken a few photos of the rubber grommet:

The body OD dia is 12.5mm, inner hole dia 6.9mm. I could knock up a drawing with dimensions or .stl/.sldprt if needed, but not sure if 3D printed in flexible TPU would stand up to the heat.

If anyone wants to have a go at 3D printing, files attached, but be careful it doesn't melt or drop anything into the rocker cover!

Ken, I don't have a 3d printer, but I do know some people who do, so I'll have a conversation with them. Thank you for taking the time to produce the model, though. - I imagine that if I do need to get one fabricated, that will be very helpful.

I'd be concerned about printing one for fear of it melting and causing a headache, though. Hopefully, someone will come along with a suggestion of somewhere that will make one.

Got mine from Rock Auto HERE, luckily as part of a bigger order.

Currently £1.66, but adding postage & VAT will make it up to around £17!

Ah, thanks for the links, both. Luckily, I saw this just before I pressed order on an o2 sensor from Rockauto to go closed loop, so the delivery charge was negligible.

I must have missed that from SJ sports, no bother though. Should be sorted once the rock auto order arrives.
