I cleared my ECU codes today by disconnecting the battery negative and on refitting the lead I was unable to get a good direct fitment and the lead sparked a few times (the ignition and headlights were off) Some reading suggests the Pod control module may be "confused" - is there a routine to reset the module? The offside lamp raises halfway and the nearside does not work at all but all headlights are illuminating. Both motors wind up and down freely manually and were overhauled a year ago. I know the headlights lifted correctly prior to the battery disconnection.
I hope the "spike" hasn't blown the module internally - any suggestions welcome. Thanks
Yep, you wise ol' owls will have guessed it - a burnt out BUZ 10S2 MOSFET!
Does anybody know a reliable source for one? Thanks.
(If I knew how to upload an image of post it - meanwhile, it's back to the garage with the module before it stinks the house out!
