Have standard ex. and Eve. chip installed.
Was surpriced to learn that max. boost was 0,8 bars sharp. Should the Everest S2 chip not target 0.9 bar's. ???
Have a hard time with the Elan Scan.
Why is it that it shows power is between 20 - 80 Bhp (must be much higher) and it can ever read -300Bhp.(negative) ???
How do you show the torque curve. ???
Looking forward to do more tests tomorrow, and to do a dyno test soon. 8)
Can't you smooth out the power curve. ???
I'm just confused, so advices appriciated.
Delta[/quote]
Delta,
Yes ElanScan is a brilliant piece of work, and very useful to have (thanks ElanScanMan [smiley=bowdown.gif]).

Have a look at the new "Dyno results" thread I started in this "Upgrades" section. It might make you want to get rid of the standard exhaust.

I've never believed the "power" calculation from ElanScan. On my car I can't get anything sensible from it. ElanScanMan will no doubt be along shortly to enlighten us. To measure and compare power (or torque) between different setups I use three methods: a) dyno results, b) ElanScan measurements of 0-60 (through the gears - prone to variability) and c) ElanScan measurements of 30-70 in 3rd (export the data points to Excel, plot speed vs time, and insert a straight-line regression line - gives good results but it's a pain to do).

If you do a dyno session, have ElanScan running and post results.

John ;)
