Thanks Liz! Everyone loves on the color, it's the first thing they comment on. I didn't really like the color when I got it but I did not have much of a choice but it grows on you.

Great pic on the top of the site BTW, the three colors are the same as the only 3 Elan's here :D I have been trying to get the 3 together but have not had any luck.

I don't know why, but I've always loved that colour. It's unusual and gets attention quickly.

The picture on top here isn't by me. None of the photos on this site are, which is probably a good thing . The one on top (though I made the grass much darker than on the original) and the matching one on the homepage are thanx to John W who kindly gave me permission to use them. Thought the yellow looked nice with the site and I think it was the perfect photo that had more than one car in it to show the community spirit.

I read you're a photographer? If you have a portfolio online, I'd love to see. I'm always facinated by great photos.

Oh and maybe you'll get a PM or an email from me soon.. I'm not saying more for now..

Is your uh, is your wife interested in... photography, ay? 'Photographs, ay', he asked him knowlingly?

Squire:

Squire:

Man:
They could be, they could be taken on holiday.
Candid, you know, CANDID photography?

Squire:
No, no I'm afraid we don't have a camera.

Man:
Oh.
(leeringly)
Still, mooooooh, ay? Mwoohohohohoo, ay? Hohohohohoho, ay?

Squire:

Man:
Oh, no, no, no... yes.

With the exception of the wheels, there's no cosmetic difference between the SE and S2.

Really Jack?

It was nothing more than a comment of respect for a beautiful Elan. Yes, the wheels are the major difference but so are the special colors and several other small differences. Come on Jack, lets just appreciate a nice ride :)

All of the S2's have the stubby Euro' nose and less rear overhang than the USA SE's, also the rear spoiler / trunk split line is different...

Hmm. . .I thought the spoiler split line was an Euro/Federal difference. Ditto with the rear and front bumpers. Well, color me ignaant! ;)

I'll call you ingnorant (if that's what you meant), but you're right.

...but I don't think Brian meant his post to be interpretted the way that you did/may have done.

Well I'm ignorant as well, I discovered today there are only two Carlton's in Australia :)

Had fun playing tag with this one today, it could not keep up with the Elan in corners but in a straight line.... lookout!
