Just received a call from HQ...there was never a list produced and they're unwilling to produce one now.
Sorry - I even offered to DIY one if they sent me the relevant data...but they weren't falling for that trick either.

The more I look at red, the more I'm sold that red is the right color. I'm also partial to Pacific Blue, not so white.

In the US there aren't as many colors as elsewhere. We have the following:

Calypso Red
Monaco White
Norfolk Mustard (yellow)
British Racing Green
Silver Frost
Pacific Blue
Black

I also remember a # produced list at some point in time, Sy. I do remember the info stating there are 102 white cars in the US and black was the most rare with 6. I think the order is near correct above as to most common to most rare in the States.

Heh... I tried doing the same plate combo, Dave!

Here in RI, they do not allow numbers in between letters or vice-versa. No reason as to why that is, but it killed my top two plate choices...

Anyway- as far as US production, there is a list- found at:

http://www.lotuselan.com/home.html

Your memory appears to be correct, as the tally for the Federal version is:

312 Red
102 White
52 Yellow
37 Green
19 Silver
17 Blue
6 Black

NG for me- only 6 plate characters. We don't need more than that living in the biggest little state in the union... Once we get annexed by Mass or Connecticut, maybe we will get more characters to play with!

I wanted:
1OF545 (a little different than Dave's admittedly)

or:

Okay- now I am starting to feel bad about moving this away from the surprise Liz has in store for us...

How long will the suspense last, Liz?

Great minds think alike, eh Matt! :D

We'll be waiting, Liz. I'm sure it will be great.

I don't know if you should be so ready to admit any kind of IQ equivalency with me, Dave- might not be in your best interest!

I do agree wtih Dave- I am sure it will be worth the wait. We have all the time in the world, Liz. Besides, more time adds to the suspense!
