Postby Dean » Tue 26.07.2005, 22:19

my car sometimes hits cut out after full boost (0.94BAR has PM system and BBR) could this be over boost? It has also happend in the mid range 30mph in 3rd after a misfire is this the cam angel senser. Does not happen now on super unleaded. well once in a blue moon.

If you have a MBC then changes in the barametric pressure can cause over boost on days of low pressure. This is only a guess, I am sure the other people in the forum know more then me but I have the same problme from time-to-time on certian days.

The BBR clips the MAP sensor reading and prevents the fuel cut occuring so, if the BBR is working, overboost fuel cut 's not your problem.

My engine run's OK it's not harsh at all. The "light" only come's on when rev's drop to 2000rpm. have not reed hand book for a long time but i know that most engine's do not supply fuel above this when you are not on the Gas.
