Re-furb wheels

Postby scubaruss » Mon 25.07.2005, 07:57

Hi....can anybody suggest a reputable company in the south of England where I could have my wheels re-furbed?

For anybody that's interested. I have just picked up my wheels & they look great - well impressed with BJV's work.

How much did it cost per wheeel, just out of interest?

Its another thing I have on my list to do (when I'm richer).

I paid £140.00 for all 4 but that included removing the wheels that are currently on the car, removing the tyres, fitting the tyres back onto the re-furbed wheels ( including new valves ), balancing ( all 4 wheels ) & fitting back onto the car.

If it's just the re-furb you're looking for I think it's about £25.00 / wheel but take a look at their website as there are a number of differnet finishes which all vary in price.

Do they accept courier deliveries now then?

I arranged a courier to get my wheels there & then picked them up once they were done. I'm not sure if they'll arrange a courier to return them to you or whether you would need to arrange a pick-up?

Sounds good. :D

How long did they need the wheels for?

I've just checked what I paid for my latest refurb (because Scubba's price quote seemed very cheap), but he's about right.

£79.90 and £75.20 each quoted price is for a pair of 16" S2 wheels.
