Seat belt stalk.

Does anyone know where i can get a seat belt stalk for a elan se turbo (J reg)... I've been trying for months now, i even had to take out the passenger seat to pass the mot! I have to pass my (the drivers) seat belt through the passengers at the mo any its not idea by any means!Help please!! The drivers stalk is also on the way out!

I did get one from an OEM supplier - it was slightly shorter and needed a slight bend introduced into it but it was otherwise perfect. I'll try to dig out the info/remember where I bought it.

Bingo! Took a bit of time because I gave the receipt away with the car when I sold it. Anyway, what you should do is contact Quickfit Seat Belt Services 0208 206 0101. They will give you a fax number to fax a tracing of the seat belt tongue so they can match it. Tell them the length overall or from the mounting hole to the end (I can't remember which) and they'll tell you which one you need. It was about 16 pounds if I recall correctly.

Mark A replaced his with a stalk from an Infinity (Nissan) I30 and said it is almost identical . . . don't know if you have that model type over there but just an FYI
