All clear!

Once I'd removed the heatshield it was apparent that threee of the four bolts that secure the stiffy to the turbo outlet were only finger tight.
Torqued 'em up and engine note at higher revs has revereted to norm.
No signs of cracked mountings etc.

well thats a relief for both you and me, as the way H & S made my one I can only get to three bolts properly. It would be murder to get the last bolt out for any reason.

Following the Willwood installation (+ vague handling traced to destroyed wheel bearing - new bearing doesn't fit hub (?) - new hubs - etc.. etc....)
the next step is fitting Dave's turbo; might as well get a second mortgage and do the job properly.

So, how much is the 'thingy' going to be?

now that it has been modded with the braket im thinking of calling it "the wanger" or "wang pipe". the delay is due to his plasma cutter going on the bung and having to fork out 7 grand for a new one.

. im also haggleing with him on the price, seens i might be able to do him a deal on a whirpool bath for 10 pipes.

maybe. either way the plan is to have missy back on the road with half a dozen wangers in the boot for a trip to stoneleigh. :roll:
