Hi Guys
I know this isn't the way forward now with Alans chips, but if you know the problems I have had because of my uprated actuator you'll understand. I have purchased a HKS FCD which has all instructions in japanese!! I believe it splices into the wires that go into the BSV. My problem is i don't know which ones and have no electrical knowledge whatsoever. It has 4 wires, black, red, green and yellow! I wondered if anyones knows the correct way to fit this or have any ideas or experience in it. All help would be most appreciated, thanks.

IIRC my FCD spliced into the MAP sensor with the BSV redundant.

thanks Sy, I had a good look at it last night and i think that applies to this one as well. Has anyone got the wiring diagram for it as i am not sure which wires go where!

If you can post the dia/instructions i will have a look and see what i can do.
The home made FCD only uses 2 wires which as Sy has said go to the map sensor. The other two wires may go to the BSV so the FCD has more control over the boost.

Rob the instructions are all in japanese!
I have been doing some digging around, and hopefully this makes some sense. There are 4 wires coming off the FCD black (assumed ground) Red (assumed live) white (which goes to ecu side) and yellow (which goes to MAP sensor side) The FCD fits between the MAP plug and the ECU. It has a dial on the front to turn to get the correct voltage i think. Does this make sense? This would leave the BSV inactive or just taken off.

I might , just might, be able to get a translation for you

IIRC the BBR has 6 wires, 3in & 3 out. I have a copy of the BBR instructions some kind soul on this forum - sorry, I forget the name - sent some time ago. If anyone needs a copy IM me.
