Lotus Car Corral-Grand Am at Barber

Some pictures from the 7/31/05 Grand AM race in Birmingham. This was the "Lotus Car Corral" right next to the back stretch.

1) Yellow and white Porsche is driven by David Murry, co-driver of IMSA-winning X180R Espirit with Doc Bundy in early '90's. That Espirit will be driven by them again next weekend at Road Atlanta in a vintage event
2) the Type 29 is driven by Lee Clark of the Barber Museum (sans helmet) on a lunchtime demonstration run. This was Dan Gurney's Lotus he drove at Indy in 1963
3) me in the yellow shirt accepting first place from Arnie Johnson, ex-LCU prez for my class in the concours
4) Red Daytona Prototype drven by Alex Gyrney, son of Dan
