I contacted Samco yesterday regarding the possibility of them making a set up, they sent a very brief reply back as follows-

Paul,

Thanks for the email. If you can get 15-20 interested in a set we will do a kit and a group buy.

first things first, can we get 15 people inerested? bearing in mind we have no price as yet, And looking at the short reply to my email it looks unlikely that Samco will look into this project at all, unless they have some serious enquiries.
Secondly, I dont have the time (nor patience) to carry this project through , assuming we get 15 people seriously interested so we will need a volunteer to carry this forward.

Just remember, our vehicles are 10 years old plus and at some point will need hoses replacing.
Put your name down if interested.

Interested, yes. but having just bought the silicone hoses necessary to fit the C/F intercooler pipes from Darren I'd be looking for something that looked the same (red) and doesn't duplicate what I already have.

At the mo paul is on about replacing the cooling system pipes but obviously not the one`s which go inside the cockpit to the heaters.

At first I thought this was about the intercooler piping (turbo hoses). If this is instead for coolant pipes, count me in. Didn't Mike here in the states have a go at putting some sort of coolant hose replacement kit together?

I understood it to be coolant hoses and maybe some others, possibly intercooler, but my point was that as I've just bought red silicone hoses for one bit of the car I'd want another hose kit to match what I already have and obviously wouldn't be as keen on a kit that duplicated what I already have.

I'm looking at replacing all the coolant pipes, minus the ones which go into the cockpit from the heater, these i believe would be to much like hard work.
Intercooler pipe is one worth considering. I would like it personally but i'm not sure everyone would like to pay the additional cost. prove me wrong :wink:

The pipes Darren supplied wont be included, as many people have catered for this already.
Various colours are available. I would put a link to the Samco website but i'm afraid i dont know how to

Tentatively interested as buying a house atm and money is tighter than normal. Would be interested in a red set and also interested in the hose that connects the carbon fibre inlet hose to a dump valve (not that I've fitted the DF hose or the dump valve yet). And a couple of pieces that connect the CF pipe to the inlet and air intake. Or hasn't this kit already been produced??

As a rough guess what does a set like this for an alternative car go for? Ideas?

See The Carbon Fibre Parts thread here [url][/url] Darren has arranged for a supplier of silicone pipes to the fit the C/F intercooler pipes and plumb in a dump valve. I got mine from Duncan at Toxic Rides, very prompt service and now on the pile of bits to be fitted, eventually.
