I'm not against black, but guess that if the order of the day is to change the hoses and there is the possibility of picking a different colour then I thought I would explore it.

I realise what is being said about keeping the hoses clean, but I think your damned to get them dirty whichever colour you go for, including black, although black might not show it so much.

I find that black hoses also get "lost" in the engine bay, maybe a little extra effort to keep other hoses clean might make it worthwhile given they will stand out very prominently.

Looking for input and maybe some pics though to see what they would look like.

Contacted Samco today,

The price for a full coolant kit with 30% discount on this order only is £142 + vat.

VERY reasonable in my opinion, i was expecting a lot more.
After the initial group buy prices will increase to £203 + vat.

Samco are now contacting their agent who will provide us with the hoses (Samco will not supply direct to the public), and they will instruct on what to do next, i.e. deposit, full amount, no deposit????

A big thankyou to Grahame who took his elan off the road in order to get this project moving. oh, and monty.

As soon as i know more i'll let you know :D

Dico,
What was the final decision on the S2 hose.Is it to be one piece as original or 2 piece with a connecting pipe ?

This is great news. I've looked back through the thread and got a bit confused as to the hoses that we're getting can you re post the complete collection as you see it. I know its a drag but certain hoses like the one from the intercooler to the turbo i don't know if there in or not??

Now all ive got to decide on is colour. Toying with the idea of BRG if they can do it.

Chris

look at page 3. the first pic Monty posted is the one you will get. It shows the SE hose in 3 parts, but this will be in one.
(the pic shows 13 hoses but we will get 11 if my maths are right??)
Basically, every coolant pipe. I dont want to individualy name them as 1. i dont know their names and 2. i aint got the time :D

I did get a price for the turbo to intercooler which was around the £40 mark including vat which i didnt think was to bad either. Just not sure there was enough interest in this one? May do a seperate buy later so as not to confuse my brain. But then where do you stop? some people will want the plenum pipe, some will want the turbo to air filter pipe??

No need to re-register your interest just yet. I will PM/IM everyone who had their name down on the list as well as post here when £$£$£'s are due.

If you havent shown interest yet and would like to be on the list say so now.
