Herr doctor, I feel really badly I did not get your bolts posted until today.  This has been the most crazy work-week; working until 4AM, 2AM, and 2:30AM tonight.  Nothing has ever compared to this week.<br><br>My most sincere apology.

I received the LEC-shirts, I love my grey one... I'll have to find the thread to see if I can buy a couple more.  My daughter will be here in 2 weeks & I think she will love the shirt-logo on hers as well.  I can see her proudly wearing it at sleepovers.<br><br>Also received the HAL-sensor.  Thanks much Doug, Matt.

I need to get my ass in gear as I ordered enough nuts/bolts/washers to make up 3 more bolt kits which I had intended to offer on EBAY.  After I hurt my back those parts have just languished, as pain changes your priorities drastically!<br><br>Also Sy, that bolt for the electric coolant pump is an M5 x 10 or M5 x 12, whichever your local stockist carries.  It seems kinda silly to send that one bolt over to ya, kinda like driving back 5 miles to pick up a dime you dropped.  Financially it makes no sense.<br><br>Also, I just never did get the incentive or time to go back & make an "engine-bay supplement kit", ie, a stage 2 package.  It was just too much research to recall which bolts I had included in the first kit.

I have more stainless underneath-the-car bolts to supplement the first set I put on 2 weeks ago. I am part-way through putting them on today but wish I had some polished stainless #10 button-head screws for the new purge kit. New stainless purge line with steel screws does not a long-lasting pretty combination make. Also, I just like to switch from Phillips or straight-head screws to Allen/Button head (both using an Allen key to install) whenever I get the chance as an Allen-key is a "positive-placement" device which does not slip out of the hole, scratch anything (paint!), or strip/round-out. It is also a much better method of applying torque to a fastener.

Anyway I am hard at work trying to be done by tomorrow afternoon B4 the rain from the hurricane starts to arrive & stays through Wednesday. During the rain-time I will start to put the "kits-for-others" together in the comfort of my living-room.

Here is an email from a friend of mine whos parents & family live in Homestead where the hurriane hit Friday as a category 1... "They are fine. No power, phone or water but they are good. My uncle had a small tree fall on his truck and I think my cousin might have some damage at his house but everyone is fine.

Just woke up after a 3-hour nap on the "sleeper-creeper". Sho' ees comfortable. Will finish up a couple pieces then take some pictures & post 'em.

Clouds from the hurricane are showing up on the horizon and are maybe a couple of hours away so I need to wrap it up. Could lose power & be offline for awhile.

Very tired. One-side B4 cleaned, same shot on other side after-cleaning. Larger shot of underside.

Been through 5 hurricanes (one time as as a chaser... it caught me that night in the motel!) Can't say how many tropical storms... more than I can count.

Nitroman, thought it would be easiest to ask you, need some bolts for the spark plug cover, know there M5 x 10's, but is there a specific thread on them ?. By the way, does anyone know a good outlet for bolts in the UK ?

I'll get ya taken care of Matt. Am having a cortisone injection into my Caudal Canal on the 15th so I can walk upright like a normal person (would have been tomorrow but my muti-vitamin had 'E' in it which apparently thins your blood).

Turns out I rutpured the same disc again! - so I get to have the surgery all over -woopee!. This time I am going out on disability rather than returning to work in a week and going through all that pain again.

I have never doubted that! Besides, it makes a nice winter project while the snow is on the ground here in New England...

You have to be kidding me- same disc??? Be careful in lightning storms! Sorry to hear that means going back under the knife- but happy to hear that you plan on taking it easy this time and not rushing back. That sounds like a good plan of action so you don't have to go through this a third time.

Hopefully they can take you in soon so you can start the healing process asap. Take care!

Wish me luck guys. After consulting with another surgeon at their firm they will NOT be doing a simple L3 discectomy with scope, but that plus a full-on L345 for Spinal Stenosis; where they use drill burrs to remove bone from your vertebrae so your spinal nerve branches have more room to reside. That means they'll be cutting me wide open and doin the work te old-fashiojed way... by looking directly at it! No "cheating" endoscopes this time. AT least it is limited to my left side as becuse that is where the L3 disc has burst multiple times on the left-hnd side at least twice now there's a slight tilit in that direction in my lower back which is causing the stenosis problem.

Anyway I'll be at the hospital for 3 to 4 days instead of the out-patient surgery I had before. Oh well, might as well do a job right, Only problem is there is a a 35% percent chance of piercing the Dura and letting the spinal fluid drain-out. That would be the worst thing of all and I will be bed-ridden up to 12 weeks if that happens; otherwise just 12 weeks. What will be be will, que sera sera! I want to be fixed right, I just don't want then messig with my Dura.
