Oh it got me thinking as well, mainly about the insurance that comes automatically when you buy with a credit card and was that enough to get me out of the strife I would be in!

Understatement of the year!
It has been an absolute nightmare to get the return of Grahames hose.
It may take a while longer to have the hoses manufactured as the staff at Samco and Amber products have all gone on a 6 month customer care course!
Feel free to phone Amber re delivery times, as i've just about had enough of them.

This is the person I first contacted and who took my order. Since my credit card has been charged, I informed them that I expect my order any day now...
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

I was originaly told by Samco that it would take around 4 weeks for the first of the hoses to be manufactured (once sample set had been confirmed to fit) so i guess it shouldnt be too long now as confirmation was given to them just after christmas.
All my time to date has been spent persuing the return of Grahames hose, which has involved aproximatley 40+ phone calls!!!!! and lots of false promises.
Grahames car has been off the road more or less since this project first started, and i must thank him and also apologise for this. Other than visiting south wales and giving the chap a good kicking there was very little more i could do.
When you have the names of specific people to refer any queries to you presume all will be straightforward, but believe me it isnt!
Thank goodness i didnt have to deal with the postage and payment side of things.
To be fair, apart from the 'missing hose' situation everything has gone to plan, and the product itself is very well made and very reasonably priced in my opinion.
And at the end of the day thats what matters.
Fingers crossed.
p.s.
Montys trial set has performed fine over the 2-300 miles that they have traveled.

Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

No such e-mail for me. What colour did you order Stevo.
Clutching at the "if they ordered blue, that's their standard colour and obviously will be made quicker" straw.

Just had a phone call from TNT saying they're trying to deliver to my home address. Could this be them?
