Postby Paul.P » Wed 15.09.2004, 19:13

.Just had my car serviced by Gerald Turner ( Lotus Specialist ) at GST Performance. What a pleasure it is to have someone who really does know the car inside out, & goes out of his way to sort all the little niggles out for you. Thoroughly recomend. Phone 01638 661144 /07788 140750

Well rang SJSportscars for some spares, they were helpful & polite, said they could get the spares, but would take 10 days!!!. So rang Gerald Turner at GST Performance wednesday morning, & the parts arrived this morning, what more can i say ?

Thought you might be feeling lonely on this thread Paul ?

I presume Gerald does everything for free for you given all the advertising you are doing for him

Not lonely Gary, Dave T's got his car there at the moment, he's gonna post his views when the works done.
I don't consider that i am advertising, just saying what ive seen & experienced from different Lotus dealers around the country. Ive had brakes done & they came back with O rings missing, & you Gary have seen the standard of others work when you bought the red car. I think that a garage that offers as good a service as GST should be supported by us where possible !

Paul,

Did you mean Dave T or did you mean Dave me? :?

Subject to GST receiving a water pump that's somewhere between Lotus & Newmarket I should be able to give GST ( and you  ) some support at the weekend.

Paul,
Was only winding you up. After all we all know who recommended GST to you in the first place

As you say I've seen evidence of some well dodgy work done by a highly respected Lotus dealer, and never had a complaint about GST.

Picked the car up this morning and brought it home top down in the sunsine although not very warm - only second time out since October! Gerald had it for 2 weeks (most of which was waiting for parts) and I have to say I'm impressed with what he has done and the care and attention he has shown. Excellent service and customer consideration. Needless to say I would take it back to GST without hesitation if/when required.

Just had the car back after it was serviced at GST Performance with a B + C service.

I must say that the car is running beautifully and can confirm those sentiments made previously in this thread that it nice to have found a genuine person who shows so much care for both the customers and their cars.

Gerald is a genuine guy and I would recommend anybody to use GST Performance.

Thanks Gerald I shall be bringing my car back as and when !!

Cheers,
Nobby

There are at least half a dozen Esprit owners over on LEF (myself included) who wouldn't entrust their cars to anyone else... and the number's growing all the time.

Every time I or one of Gerald's other LEF disciples send someone along to him for the first time they invariably come back with the same comments - " breath of fresh air; so knowledgeable; exceptionally helpful; genuine; honest; a true gentleman; lovely bloke; won't go anywhere else now".

Need I say more?
