Lotus Racing Two Tone

Postby Ultimatt » Sat 25.02.2006, 00:14

Guys, what do you think? Need to get me a respray done on my Calypso Pink Elan. Massive peeling going on on virtually all panels. I've been toying with this paint job for a while now. A goer or potential disaster?

Matt

Obviously, the white could be toned to be more of a cream as I have seen some of the original Elans.

Could look nice if done properly - some have, others haven't.

Have a look here to see how it can turn out and make your own judgement... :?

I think it would look very nice. Actually since we had/have a JPS project why not an Elan Sprint project. That's what it reminds me of and it could be done up very nicely.

Good post enright. I'll stick me neck out first and say that the sprint paint job on ebay looks like a polished turd. Good idea, rubbish execution. If you do it ultimatt, good luck to you.

I agree Doug :!: We don't need no stinkin' windscreen and fenders :!: :smt107

I still think one of the above would be cool though. If I still owned my Red Elan, think of the possibilities!
