Could anyone offer any help on how to replace my back box. It is a 1991 SE turbo non cat model.
It has a large hole in it where the pipe meets the box and is unrepairable. I was going to buy one from SJSports for £187. Does anyone have any hints on how to remove it. It is quite rusty where it joins the main pipe. There are two rubber mountings one behind the bumper and one where the pipe has a bend in it. I'm not sure which one should be disconnected first.
Any hints or tips whilest i'm waiting for the box to be delivered would be much appreciated.
Ray.

..everything Dico said, hopefully you can break the joint otherwise you'll need a front pipe as well. I would remove the rear rubber first to give more waggle on the front one.
I''m a great one to talk because I changed mine with the wishbone removed - which made it a piece of cake
