thanks for the advice costas.

my last set of yoko's (a539's) lasted well(10,000miles and 2 track sessions).
i'll let you'se know how they compair next week. :twisted:

Thought you'd have gone to the Toyo shoeshop - they do road legal, track day tyres - lots of tread and a very sticky rubber compound. I think they're R888's ?? SW Lotus had them at Donny and they had a good write up. No idea of prices though.

Hmmm even quite good in the wet.

I did notice those on Costas' car and spotted the a-symetrical tread pattern. Looked good.

Let us know how they fair on the wet and icy Scottish roads!

I am also replacing tyres Stevo and again will use Parada, couldnt be more satisfied by them. They need a good warm up to get good grip and perhaps they have a little bit less grip than Toyos but they have a longer life instead. Mine lasted for 1 year and 15.000 miles under lotsa rpm.

mark i was almost handing over my card to sw lotus for a set of r888's for £105 a corner but i think they might have been too extreme for the daily comute. the parada looks like a better all rounder for our pot holed roads and at £85 each were ba bit cheaper.

they just arrived today so will fit them on monday and let you know how they feel next to the a539's and the proxes.

well we managed to fit 2 of them in 2 hours.
40 part reinforced side walls and 17 inch chrome rims dont like each other

and now i've sheered all the the teeth of my locking wheel nut getter offer thingy. :cry:

d'oh.
the adapter nut for my locking wheel bolts has sheared all its splines off.
now i have 2 tyres fitted to the off side and cant get the other 2 off. :evil:

to be exact it was Ardrishaig and yes i got caught in the rush hour traffic at balloch,milton and m8. no tolls at the erskine bridge shaved a couple of seconds off. :twisted:
