Having been and bought Mike Y's S2 alloys today I want to get some tyres sorted.
I've decided on Michelin Pilot EXALTO PE2 unless someone says they'd be a bad choice.
Can I also be sure that the size for the S2 alloys is 205/45 ZR16s with a pressure of 2.0bar.
Thanks
Phil

Can anyone please confirm the tyre size is correct please ? I have an SE with standard alloys at the moment and want to get the tyres for my S2 alloys but don't want to get the wrong S2 tyres ordered with my local tyre fitter.
Help please.

I have them on my s2 alloys...erm and have 2 full sets of spare in the garage......not quite sure how I managed to do that ....really must have a clear out........got an mgb hard top...various twincam bits....70's wolfrace wheels......3 more sets of wheels and tyres for the early elan....the list goes on and on......
anyway sorry for waffling...the answer was yes youve got the correct tyre size....

I ran the Michelins on Whitey & thought they were excellent, although a bit pricey, running Goodyear F1's now, & although they give excellent grip, have found they are a harder tyre, not giving as much comfort, so if you can afford the michelins, go for it !

Great tyres.
Very silent running on the road as well as on a trackday and GOOD in the wet.
I like 'em.
