Blipi's new hat

Postby Stef » Sat 27.05.2006, 20:28

Well, after an unfrtunate incident Blipi now has a new hood.

However, it seems slightly different and has what can only be described as tension wires. On the corner, where the corner of the door window is, you can see the wire. This isn't a problem, what is is the gap between hood and seal there. Is that common?

They haven't done a great job as well as not replacing the cut webbings. She also leaks more.

Oh and her mirror had been knocked off as I can see they have re-stuck it on.

Muppets.

Will be speaking to them Tuesday.

Yes - come on Stef, spill the beans. We know you've got rid of the Mini, the Chimaera is knackered and now the Elan has a hood problem.

You're spending too much time on PissedonHeads !!

My money's not on the stilleto's - not her style. More like a burn or scorch mark from a carelessly discarded joint !!! :smt033

Howdy all. Sorry, I have not been able to get on here much.

She was slashed while parked in Kettering.

And little Tivi is going to be a far meaner beastie when complete! She just had the usual cam wear expected at her mileage and other minor wear so using the opportunity to have her played with a bit!

As for Pissedonheads, its sure opened a far wider brighter and more active motoring world for me! 8) Besides, it gives me chance to let Blipi kick arse  I'm surprised I don't see more of you on there.

Stef,

Sorry to hear about the vandalism in Kettering.

I do dabble in pistonheads, I used to do a lot more when I had the TVR of course - it was a case of having to!.

Take care

I also lurk a bit on Pissed on Heads but I find it boring for M100 stuff - not a patch on this site. Great if you have a knackered Griff, Chimmy, S2, S3 etc...... though !!

I've also spotted postings for a Stevo fae Paisley and a John W from time to time. Also Monty and Dico - all the usual suspects !!

Maybe it was Dico that I remembered posting Monty - probably wanted some help with that massive exhaust of his ??

It's not my cup of tea either - I much prefer this site although I did find out more about Stef, her new car and some comments about prawn stinking fingers !! Don't ask !!
