PECO Exhaust

Hi guys,

I noticed that there was a group purchase of the PECO exhaust @ £250.00 going, just wondering if anyone knows if I can still pick one up for this fantastic price??

Ordered mine today - just ask for Dave. He seems a v friendy chap and was quite happy to continue letting them go for £250 + P&P (approx £12).

As Humph says, looks like the deal is still available.

I see you're in Liverpool, so rather than pay P&P and then pay to have it fitted, ask Peco if they are still offering to fit it free at their premises during the week. If you are interested, you could also make use of their rolling road.

I dropped the car off today, they're fitting it too although not for free - £20.00 which I'm not going to quibble over.

I listened to Daves Elan with the PECO exhaust on, sounds great. Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow!!!

Glad you were impressed. Shame you didn't get free fitting, but you were a bit late to the party! I still think £250 is a good deal though.

Yeh I know what you mean, and yes, it's great, the noise is fantastic!
Although I did notice that the boost creeped up too high, so much so that the engine warning light came on for a little while.......I'll have to check that out.

On that note, any one have any ideas how to erradicate the boost creeping so high??

Try fitting the Everest chip as the fuel cut is raised to 0.98, if not then u have to port the wastegate.

Cheers for that Monty. I want to get use to the new power increase with the PECO exhaust before I go nuts with a crazy chip! ha ha ha

chip is the way to go 1st, porting the waste gate is a big job, u have to remove the turbo

Incidentally - do you have both a chip and PECO (or such) exhaust?
If so, do those together give much greater performance? How much BHP are we talking??

yep also have a stiffy too John.W and ESM can tell u better than me but i`ve learn`t the chip is more about how the boost is controlled rather than BHP, mine is running at 176bhp at the wheels which is about 206 at the fly. But very happy with the performance at the mo

Sounds kinda good - i.e. not increasing the BHP by a silly ammount.

Anyone know of a good deal on one of these chips then???????


.....Also need a bit of body work doing (fibreglass repair).....PNM Engineering are the only people I've spoken to so far...any others round this way???
