Well, last Thursday I tried to go with some friends to the Classic gathering at Foxton Locks in Market Harb.
5 mins after setting off it lashed it down, big style! The rain fall was amazing and persistant, lasted a good 45 mins. Sadly due to poor visibility and windows steaming up we just had to stop. The roads were like rivers, really bad. Strangely, the show was mobbed and clear, and only 10 miles away!
Admitted failure and disbanded. It was dodgy going through the rivers, scared about flodding the engine or hitting things as it was difficult to see. Pete in the Elise did hit something and has busted his steering. We drip dried in my place with a few beers and continued to watch the storm.
Blipi did play up a bit the next day but seems OK now thankfully.
She is now all repaired and has her Wilwood brakes fitted!

I even got to dust the interior a bit.
She didn't go to the Motorshow with me as I didn't want London muppets damaging her. The Lotus stand IMO could have done with a few more different show cars like an old Elan and Esprit and predictably had no M100 merchandise or reference there. Overall a great show though!
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.
