I met up with Ian (TheBard) today to check out his Elan. I had a great time, and it was fun riding around in his car. It's quite a solid platform for a 90's sports car, and even more impressive given it's a convertible!

Forgive my pictures, my camera isn't good in bright sun, it won't pick up on any darker/shaded details:

Yup, thats a ZR1, and boy does that thing shift. :burnout: truely amazing car, and a Lotus engine too. Only comment would be if you're 6ft and long of body, you will catch your head on the B pillar, so sit low, and buckle up!

LOL, um I think you can see them in 2 or 3 of the pictures in the link on my second post. Ian's also got some pictures that he'll hopefully post up. :) Perhaps he tried to compose those trucks more prominently in the background... ;)

No trucks, but here we go...Corevette and Lotus, or Lotus and Corvette.

I dug a little bit a found these from I track day a friend and I did a few years back. Your pictures reminded me of them. Same idea, different vintage... What a riot on track in the 'vette. Though after getting out of my car with 4-point harnesses into his with only a lap belt, it felt a little too "free". :?

Awesome! They both look great! Any specs on the 'vette? I spy an Esprit there in the background, also white. Was it "white cars at the track" day?

Also, any bigger version of your avatar? That's a cool picture.
What do you get when you combine GM, Lotus, and Mercury Marine? One hell of an inboard!
