Hi guys iv had my elan se turbo 1990 reg for just over 2 years and its been brill, no major problems to mention but just over the last week the car seems to be playing up , so any information would help, iv tried searching but to no avail, the car starts fine every day but if iv been using it all day starting and stopping after about the 4th start /start the car wont start, the battery seems as dead as a dodo, but if i then wait another 10 mins starts straight away, seems worse when its hot, any ideas thanks

It could be something as simple as a loose battery connection. I've had the same "dead battery" problem, and it turned out I needed to tighten one of the leads. Give them a good cleaning with a metal brush (post and lead), then crank them down. Hopefully that will do it.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.
