Geoff,
You're speshul.
There are several gods,
but only one Wrinkley.
Yours,
Philistine (and on the way down).
Oh, and now Doug's not such a big cheese I can point out that there are two l's in grovelling. (Sailing close to the wind here)

Dear John W:
Welcome back from your vacation/holiday. I was beginning to wonder what had happened to you. I was afraid you had hit your head and traded your Elan in on a Miata. I truly missed your rapier wit.
Concerning the use of the term "grovel" both you and Doug are correct but depending on one's perspective, Doug may be more right than you. "Groveling" with one "l" is the more accepted, modern spelling of the word while "grovelling" with two "l"s is the older, less widely accepted and British spelling of the word.
Just thought you ought to know.
Sincerely,
Algirdas

Surely the latter part of that statement would mean John is correct?

And the British spelling of "Wonderful person" is not "Wonderschlong"!

Wonderschlong is not a German word either. However, according to the online urban dictionary, the definition is:-
1. The living legend, the god who walked the University of Miami's campus as a man, my friend...R.E.F.
2. Pussy magnet.

I'm confused.
I realise that LEC Admin are pretty much all seeing, but I hadn't been able to work out how you knew I was allergic to cats and consequently how cats appeared to be attracted to me in some mysterious, invisible way.
I was talking to the children about this at tea today and how I'd changed my avatar to a tin of catfood to reflect my special status as pussy magnet. I gather that my interpretation may have been somewhat outdated. They have suggested I use a different one - a bespectacled young man who I have never heard of. Could anyone enlighten me?
Geoff
BTW, the medics said it was quite exceptional that three children should simultaneously choke on their food and they are expected to make a full recovery.

Your felicitations are too kind, Al, but are appreciated. I fear, however, that you were trying to ease the blow of:

My apologies to you and Doug; I had no idea that this was another of those words which failed to make the transatlantic crossing unmangled. I am now going to give up on trying to educate you lot.

Dear Mr. John W:
Were you trying to say "I am now going to give up on trying to educate your lot"?
Just curious. LYLDM

Pussy magnet ??!!! Are you kidding Geoff ?? At the ripe old age of 50 your pussy magnet days must be 30 years long gone !!
However I have heard that schlong is another term for dick, cock, tadger, love baton or whatever you want to call your "wee man"
So, there's only on f in Geof Smith, WonderCock sounds almost better than there's only on f in Geof Smith, pussy magnet

Thanks Mark. You know how to make an old man feel good - if only I could remember what my schlong was used for.
Looks like my pussy magnet days were short lived anyway, as I've been demoted to a mere God now.
