Same here. Just spotted it. Glad to hear that all went well. I hope your recovery goes quickly. On the off chance that it progresses a bit more slowly than expected (considering your advanced age and all), shall I bring over some more "pain killer" for you? I hear tequila is most effective when you drink it through a straw.

Good to hear you survived it, Simon. I tell people shoulders usually hurt more than you expect them to. Usually the pain level goes down a lot after the first 2 days, and then slowly daily thereafter . . .

that's the gearbox; just change more gently. It makes the cables last longer, too; ask Stef. :poke:

Just back from hols and spotted this thread. Awrabest for a quick recovery.

Scary stuff. I noticed at Donington that you were starting to need glasses and now you've required surgery on your right arm. A lesson to us all. Is it true that it also makes you deaf and your palms hairy?

He might be playing silly mid-off whilst we're playing on this, sometimes, sticky wicket. But, if my recovery continues at this pace, I'll be opening the bowling again from the Hethel end in no time!

Shoulder surgery

Dear Sy,

Greetings from Singapore! You should have by now reattached yor glenoid and are possibly undergoing physiotherapy for your shoulder. Minimally invasive surgery is doing wonders today & I can now remove womb cancer by this procedure alone with fantastic recovery time whereas in the past full laparotomy was required.
Human surgery has bypassed automotive 'surgery' in this respect. Imagine changing clutch plate for your M100 through a tiny hole!

Have you ever worked on a Elan; seems like everything is accessed through a tiny space :lol:

I have seen that on TV done with gloves up to the shoulder and I think you are correct!

I was thinking if it were done from above . . .
