Anybody got any idea what the small water hose coming out of the pipe from the turbo is called and where is the best place to buy the said hose mine has a split and started leaking so I taped it up with hose tape and topped the water up every 5 minutes till I got home safely so its parked up just now till I get this hose thanks for the help.
Cheers Henry

The hose you describe is called something technical like "Turbo Water Feed Hose"

Mine gave way a few months ago and I replaced it with a generic hose from my local auto parts store .. easy job and worked fine. This was the thread when it happened

Once I had repaired this and went poking around at the other cooling system hoses, I found that many of them were in a similar state and needed replacing .. not surprising as they are all 10+ years old. I ended up replacing all hoses with the Samco kit. For peace of mind, a definite recommendation.

Henry
Assuming you mean the 'Trubo Water Feed Hose' (runs dirctly under the CAS) to the thermostat housing. These are still availble from lotus as I replaced the same hose 3 weeks ago.
Bought mine direct from Lotus dealer Christopher Neil. Cost about £10 including P&P delivered in less than a week.

Got a couple of them from a Lotus dealer for about £6.50. I gotta spare if you need it.

SJ have the hose in question for 2.41p so its not going to break the bank

Thinks....
"I know a few people have had problems with this hose. I think I'll replace it on the snotter as a precaution. I need to flush and refill the coolant, anyway."
