Vent or Breather for ??

Postby donsladek » Sun 10.09.2006, 21:28

Folks,

I'm replacing my prongeron, and the pictured black plastic part fell out duriing removal.

It appears to be a vent or breather, as the left side cap is attached, yet free to move around. The right side appears to have something missing- maybe threads?

Anyone know what it is and where it attaches?

Is it the transaxle breather P/N A100F6095S, and should it have threads?

Can I get a replacement from Isuzu or is it a Lotus special part?

Thanks!

Looks like the gearbox breather - it is (or should be :) ) located in the shift control box bolted to the top of the gearbox - the bit where the cables attach. It's just a push fit.
