1/36 scale. So it's around ~3 inches? Nice
[Edited] I just got my 1st Elan in 1/36 delivered yesterday. Seems to have factory 3" tailpipe exhaust fitted. Ofcourse I will have to add my own Lotus logo at the wheels. Spent few hours playing with repainting, waxing, detailing, etc. She's just another one from Shell Sportscar Collection series. Took some pictures lastnight. Will post them soon.

Dear AndyH,
I look at this item again just now. I think it's exactly the same mold as the Shell Sports Collection I've just got yesterday. Differences are colors and ... a Lotus paper box.
Cheers,

The lines of that model looks like an Esprit.

That's right Fubar1764. I have already emailed the seller. Looks like a Jaguar to me

I just checked what that went for - £43.58!!!! It may look the same as the shell one but I reckon it must be made of solid gold or something!

Too bad. That was what somebody paid for the same car and ... a Lotus paper box.
I got my 2nd Elan from Maisto at $0.99 -- that is 99 US cents

Just happened to be lucky that day. But they shouldn't go for too much anyway.
I found that they all are exactly from the same mold as Shell's. Maisto might have retouched the mold a bit so the interior looks a little sharper. Also the winding mechanism in side seems to be improved. Smoother engine block .... well I mean ... you push it back, it goes forward quieter and faster than the Shell.
Drag racing anyone?

I used to have a list of the part numbers for all the Lotus models,
but a virus has amended that.
Does anyone have the Lotus part No's?

Nice Dave. Now you'll need some red, white, black... collect them all
They should have some Federal Elan

I find it really strange how they never made a red model, when it is obviously the most predominant colour in the road car ?
Mind you, see they made a nice medina green one, just for Gary
